Whenever there is a need for online interaction between you and your customer, this involves what is referred to as "Programming". Whether it's incorporating a signup for something, having an interactive calendar on your site, a pizza shop or even an online school, a complex set of computer functions usually become involved.
Our programmers are wonderful and they can create just about anything you want. However, they are paid based on the time involved in a project. It is therefore very important for you as the client to make sure you tell us about everything you want to achieve. Whether it is just a new concept, or it's based on an existing website, you need to outline the steps - you don't need to know how to do it, you just need to ensure to tell us exactly what you want to achieve ("I want to be able to do this, and then this, and then this....")
In order to achieve this, before we begin a project, we will draw up a document that explains in writing all the functions you want to achieve, based on your explanation of needs, which all involved parties will then sign off on. Should you decide later that you need additional functions, we are happy to accommodate your requirements but will need to revise the cost of the project. As you can well understand, our programmers need to be ppaid! Since our estimate is based on what you tell us you need, this of course makes sense.
We do understand that sometimes it's hard to know exactly what you need and you can't really figure it out until the project starts. Again, no problem. We will give you a new estimate for the additional work, and we will work out a payment schedule for that work based on the overall amount of extra hours needed.
Programming is a very complex entity and glitches do arise. As long as the function that needs to be fixed is part of either an initial estimate or a later one for which there is an additional charge, we will fix it at no additional cost.
